Coming Monday, February 12, 2024 – A New Look for SmartHub

With a goal to continue providing customers with more convenient and efficient tools to manage their electric bills, Belmont Light is excited to announce a newly redesigned SmartHub customer portal launching Monday, February 12, 2024.  With a streamlined look and improved features, we hope that this will help you better stay connected.

Below is a list of changes designed to enhance your SmartHub experience. If you need help navigating the redesigned SmartHub, please contact Belmont Light’s Customer Service Team.

Home Screen

  • Page navigation has moved from the top of the page to the left side of the page

  • Clicking on the logo at the top left of the screen will bring you to the Home screen
    • The “Home” button will be removed from the navigation menu
  • New Usage Overview display on the Home screen
    • Shows a comparison in usage between current month and the same month in the previous year

  • Account Overview is now Customer Overview
    • Last Payment amount and method is now displayed upfront
    • Current Bill display will show due date and method if applicable
    • Different displays for customers with single accounts and those with multiple accounts

Make a Payment Screen

  • New setup for Make a Payment screen with more details and payment alerts

  • Customers with multiple accounts can search their accounts by name or account number

Settings Screen

  • New Settings screen (a combination of My Profile/My Information and Manage Contacts/Notifications screens)
    • Manage Contacts screen is now Contact Methods screen

  • New Security screen houses Passwords, Emails, Hint Questions, and Security Phrase

Notifications Screen

  • Communication/Alerts box is now Notifications on the Home screen

  • News Feed displays all messages from Belmont Light and includes the option to get updates from our Facebook page
